Reporting Bugs

If you experience something you think might be a bug, please report it to the R:BASE Developers' Corner Crew. In R:BASE, the R:DCC Client is fully integrated to communicate with the R:BASE development team.

From the R:BASE program main menu bar, choose "Help" > "R:DCC Client". A login dialog will be displayed. New and existing users are accepted.

Complete the available fields according to your issue.

If you would like to send the sample in reference to a submitted bug, the RDCC Client will prompt you for the file(s) at the end of the process.

You will need to describe:

  • What you did
  • What actually happened
  • What you expected to happen
  • What version and build of R:BASE you're using
  • Any error messages R:BASE gave
  • Which operating system you're using
  • What operating system and R:BASE theme are in use
  • Anything else you think might be relevant

Unless additional information is needed, users will not receive a direct response, and can periodically check the status of a submitted bug.

Reporting Enhancement Requests

From time to time, everyone comes up with an idea for something they'd like their software to do differently. This is true of all applications, no less R:BASE.

If you come across an idea that you think might make a nice enhancement to R:BASE, your input is always welcome.

Please submit your suggestion and/or enhancement request to the R:BASE Developers' Corner Crew (R:DCC) and describe what you think might make a nice enhancement. In R:BASE, the R:DCC Client is integrated to communicate with the R:BASE development team. From the main menu bar, choose "Help" > "R:DCC Client".

Unless additional information is needed, users will not receive a direct response, and can periodically check the status of a submitted enhancement request.

If you would like to send an email to the R:DCC, please the message to rdcc@rbase.com
