Convert Express
When converting a database from any version prior to 4.5, it is necessary to convert the database format from either RBS (Version 4000 or 5000) or RBF (System V to 4.0) files to the RB1, RB2 and RB3 file format of version 4.5. Once you've gotten that far then R:BASE itself can handle the remaining portion of the conversion.
The Convert Express package is available to ease this conversion. It handles the external and internal conversions necessary to bring your legacy database up to the current version.
